Default Installing torque converter

I just got a new torque converter in and I was wondering if I am suppose to pour any fluid in it before i install it or just install it dry? thanks

Fill it (take your time and let it drink) and make SURE you get 3 drops or clicks of engagement when you're installing and spinning it.

yes fill it before you put it in. if you put it in dry you will toast it and it will be garbage.

as said above fill it. there's no ifs ands or buts about it. drink some beer and give that converter what it wants.

Measure also... 1.125"... I couldn't hear but two clicks.

what if you've got a new transmission? Should you still fill the converter first?
