I have called TCS for the past 2 days, and never got an answer, so I have left 2 messages. Does anyone know if maybe Derek (I think thats his name) is on vacation or something. I was wanting to talk to him about ordering a converter. Everyone praises his customer support, so I just figured he was gone or something...?

Ive been having the same problem too! Ive called myself the last couple of days to check on my converter and realized that Ive called around the same time, 2 p.m. So I figured that I would try a later time because I figured that I was calling when they were at lunch, but no luck. I keep getting the answer machine. I didnt know if they were on vacation or something really bad happened. I had a dream last night they were going out of business and that they werent going to be able to make or send me a converter that I had already ordered. Man...it was a nightmare!!! I hope that everything is ok over there.

 

i have 410-547-2696, weird that they have the number you listed on the site, I have always called this number. They also list a 800-284-8606. so you could try that too. I just emailed Derek, Vanessa (who answers the phones), and Mikey @ Rapidmotorsports (sells TCS converters and a good friend of Derek's). Probably wont get a reply till the morning though, and it will probably be from Mikey, Derek is not good about emails, he likes to talk one on one.

 

also might try calling arond 8-9 eastern time, remember they are an hour ahead of us so when you call at 2 p.m. Houston time it is really 3 p.m. there

 

I called the past 2 days also. and I got no answer. I talked to Derek last week and he said that he was kinda having some health realted issues. But last time I talked to him he mentioned that and then he said that he felt fine. They might have had other personal things going on. or maybe its something technical. Trust me guys he isnt avoiding you
NVMySS glad that was a dream, he said that they are staying really busy. You will get your converter, wish I had one coming too

 

I got the machine today too. I would chalk it up to some needed vacation time probably. They've been on the run there for the last few months and I'm sure they are getting worn down.

Ive been calling 1-800-284-8606. They close at 5 p.m. but sometimes close a little early or a little late. If Im calling at 2 p.m. our time, then it should be 3 p.m. there which would mean the should still be open. I figured one day wasnt that big of a deal, but 2 days straight pretty much all day long! I think I even tried last Friday! I was also aware of him having health issues, but if I remember correctly, it wasnt anything major. I really hope everything is ok. I know theyve been really busy and that would give them every bit of reason to take a few days off. But then again, I would think they would inform us through their answer machine. Hrmm...Im going to try tomorrow and see if I have any luck.

 

I talked to him friday and monday afternoon. he was still having some health issues. I have been trying to contact them the last two days about my converter. I fear Derek is not well

 

Hopefully Derek is okay. I guess I will just try calling again tomorrow. How long do they usually take to get a converter out? I am pretty sure I am ready to order one...

 

Derek is fine. They are in the process of a move and it's been a little hectic. If you need help call myself or one of the other TCS dealers.

Converters are shipping 2 weeks ARO.

I called today, Dereks on personal leave. I doubt that they put your converter on hold. Dont get your pannies in a wad. your converter will come, just calm down

 

Where did you get that info from? I noticed that they changed up their voice message, but it didnt mention anything about personal leave or in the process of moving.
I know it'll come. Im in no hurry! No worries here...ummm ok maybe a little. Actually, I cant wait to get it! But Im calm!

 

When you do get a hold of him you'll be satisfied. I talked to him and I really really enjoyed my conversation with him.

I did call again today, and noticed that they changed the machine. I didnt leave a message though. I will probably leave one tomorrow. I think I am going to go with something around 4000 with a 2.7 STR, but wanted to talk to him first....

Thats easy for you to say. I cant drive my car because my brand new TCS converter is out of balance making the car vibrate. just to add insult to injury it will only stall to 2100, not quite what i ordered . I have repeatedly called and emailed. They wont return either
