th 400 to power glide weight difference

If your car is full weight you'll loose a lot more than weight going to a glide, like et and mph. Look for other area's to loose weight. The 400 can be put on a diet, but it cost heavy $$ to lose the weight.

You could lose a lot more weight (300-500lbs) by putting your car on a proper diet. The weight differences between the trans are in one of Dlove's stickies at the top.
