Business Development / Sales Manager
Rate/Benefits:
Very competitive salary depending on experience and skills

6 Holidays + 1 Floater per Year
2 weeks Vacation, 4 sick days
Role:
The Sales Manager's role is to act as the charioteer for our sales and business development team. By gathering and focusing the diverse personalities and skills among your team of 3 fulltime and up to 3 ancillary support staff, you will balance industry leading customer service, technical support for products, account management, and all new business development efforts.
Responsibilities:
Work with Marketing Director at developing sales
Act as part of Exhibit Show Staff for 4-6 car shows/events
Manage departmental needs: scheduling, vacations, employee development and coaching
Answer and route inbound sales calls and triage them as necessary (sales, tech support, information)
Enter sales invoices using FileMaker 8.5 database
Ensure tracking mechanisms are being employed on invoices
Manage team resources and schedule to maximize phone coverage
Manage “downtime” into opportunities for raising product knowledge, pursuing new business opportunities, and managing existing accounts.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years sales experience (automotive aftermarket experience preferred) with a proven history of performance having set, measured, and achieved goals in their career. Candidates must have strong verbal, communication and organizational skills. Must be literate with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), use organizational tools including calendaring (Outlook, iCal) and contact management and tracking (ACT, GoldMine, Miller-Heiman).
