Well, yeah, I would hope not.
An American citizen chooses to drive a domestic nameplate vehicle on U.S. soil...I would think a Honda employee would have some freakin' nerve giving him grief for that.
Now let's see a Honda plant employee (be they Japanese or American) living/working in Japan try that, I'm betting the results would differ.
