He mention's that the new generation would consider a Porsche 911. Well the design of 911's really does not change much from model years because it is a classic design which people recognize. It's not a bad thing to have a slightly evolving but stay true to your style car. People like that.
Performance progression has been remarkable during most of the 57 years of Corvette, leaving Corvette as a top performer for it's respective day even in the bleakest of horsepower years. The newest LS3 base Corvettes are easily the absolute best performing brand new cars comparable to anything remotely within their price range. That is a fact.
If you don't like the look of a C6, that's fine as it's purely subjective, but to make the arguement that it's "uncool" based on price, or performance; well that's just plain foolish. Facts don't lie, and the fact is, Corvette is at the top of it's game. It's the one thing GM has really done perfectly in recent years.
