I think Cadillac did a fantastic job. Better late to the party then never.

I'm glad that Cadillac still has the ***** and the ability to produce a car like this, even after all the things GM has gone through. Good looking car, hope I can afford one one day! Although Blackened2k has a good point, I'd probably still stick with the sedan since any cadillac I own will likely be a Daily Driver.

Cool

I like both body styles but I think I too might prefer the 4 door if the performance is the same/similar anyway.
I've simply loved the whole idea of the CTS-V from day one.

That's what the press says.

It has the same 6.2-liter LSA V8 as the sedan packing 556 HP and 551 lb-ft of torque, the same 3.9 second 0-60 MPH time, the same magnetic ride system, the same manual transmission and paddle shifted auto, the same wheelbase and it only weighs about 18 lbs less. In short, it's everything the CTS-V is with an aversion to passengers.

That's not all that uncommon when there is a 2 door and a 4 door built on the otherwise same exact platform. While it is two less extra doors and window/door lock mechanisms it's also adding back in larger driver's/passenger's doors and glass, more metal on the rear quarters and larger rear window etc so it sort of evens things out.

Twin exhaust tips out the back, designers definitely stole that from the Saleen SN 95 Mustang. Sure looks good!

It's like a less expensive Caddy XLR. It's cool, I'd consider rocking a base version as a daily driver.

I wonder if the coupe is anymore aerodynamic than the 4 door with the back end tapering off more?

Good M6 competitor, but it will get paired up with the M3 because of price. The spec sheet only puts this square against the M6 and whatever AMG E class coupe that comes out.
