I was thinking the same thing. People who diss Top Gear for being anti-American need to watch this episode, the whole segment they did on English sports cars makes fun of their own auto industry.

Yeah, watching the Veyron SS break the top speed record, then become the fastest car around the TG test track, watching world famous celebs run the reasonably priced car and the Ayrton Senna tribute, have nothing for a man of your caliber. How could that stuff possibly compare to driving your 1989 Mazda RX-7 with a LS1. Stay Classy.

That was the series finale? It was a good episode and all, but that's it? No more Top Gear for 3 or 4 months? 6 Episodes? That's a crime against humanity.

Your referring to episode 5... which I said was one of the best episodes I've ever seen.. Good attention to detail.

The next episode was about clasic british cars and the new ferarri replacing the F430 which turned lap times within a tenth of a second of the Enzo. Like I said other than the ferarri it was pretty boring.

YES. I don't care what anybody says, THESE are the "good ole days." To have the "base" Ferrari be damn near as fast as the Enzo tells you just how great cars are these days. And I couldn't be happier to be alive right now

I think it looks pretty much like a Corvette with an Alfa back and a shorter hood.

When they were walking through the defunct auto plants it tugged on my heartstrings a bit. That's pretty sad and it can very well happen in this country as well, in time.

Agreed. We're a lot closer to that than most people realize or want to admit.

"It's not that we don't build sports cars, it's that we don't build anything"

So true.

I hope next season isn't as depressing.
