Usefull G.M. Info
http://media.gm.com/media/us/en/vehicles.html
Info on the new Caprice, Cruze and Regal. Plus the rest of the line up like the new for 2011 HD trucks that must have Ford engineers doing faceplams.
Update: Ford issued a flash for the computers on 2011 Powerstrokes...

No Caprice for civilians. That sucks. I guess we have to wait for the police auctions in a few years. Interesting that it has special stability controll settings for cops. I wonder what that's about.

yes the ford engineers are lost children....with the HO 400hp/800tq f250/350.
facepalming, thinking how they could possibly compete. oh they do. win.

they win by offering 16.5k in srw, and 22,600 lbs in drw. 24.4k in f450. i dont think a single ford engineer is facepalming anything.

seems like I read somewhere that civilians will be able to get the unmarked version of the Caprice. Oh well, GM is being by not offering the Caprice to civilians. I guess if I want a GM V8 RWD car I have to settle for the Camaro

Or a CTS. Which IMO is a better car than the Camaro.

When I posted the thread originally Ford had not upped the ante yet, to my knowledge. And while they have upped the power and tow ratings MOST of the time these beasts are driven empty. The Duramax is a runner either way. Hopefully Ford figured out how to keep injectors from going bad this time around.
