I think the pricing was expected, considering Mustang... That said, you COULD spend over 42K for a new 'vert. The one tested wasn't very close to highest price... more like in the middle of the SS lineup.
After "building" my own, the final price on chevrolet.com was $51,935.00 not including taxes, of course. $11,435 in options added to the 2SS and the $850 delivery charge. If all those boxes can be checked as I did it... Gimme the 'vette, thanks. Even the Corvette 'vert can be had for about 54k, sticker price.
