Actually, that was made in response to the "street legal in CA," statement. My original reply was made in reference to their (Top Gear) track testing standards, ie; sleeping policeman, inertia reel seat belts... Their rules have changed without notice, kinda like in law enforcement, LOL.

That Atom actually looks better w/ a true windshield...& wipers I see, LOL. Thanks for the pic. Yah, I was relating the one on the show w/ the tiny windshield & no wipers. Didn't know this version was available.
Where are you getting this part from?
The rules, as most know them are:
The end.

Got it "inertia reel seatbelts" from watching the show. More than once "inertia reel seatbelts" have been stated as a reason that a car could either not be placed on the board or had been placed & then immediately removed from the board. Same can be said for not being able to clear a "sleeping policeman" (British slang for speed bump).
Granted I didn't go net searching for Top Gear fastest cars rules, LOL. Thought that what had been stated on the show was good enough. Regardless, none of this changes my opinion. It's an open wheel race car. Whether or not it meets their subjective rules is irelavent

For those of you who have satellite or digital cable you can catch Top Gear on BBC America every Monday night.
http://www.bbcamerica.com/
They are currently showing two episodes behind the original airing so you can be fairly current on the show without streaming or downloading it. Not only that, they also air a bunch of older episodes that you may have missed or want to watch again.

They were showing Top Gear literally all evening last night. They had the Albanian mafia car test so it's only two weeks behind.

Anyone watch tonights? F40 and 959 on it. Very pissed they didn't run either of them on the track, and Hammond's drag race was LAME. No way the F40 would have lost with a half decent driver with how hard it pulled everytime he didn't mess up a shift.

Yah, I hear yah, but, they are presenters, not pro drivers, with the exception of the STIG.

I know, but even a decent driver should have done better than that. He even said he messed up a few shifts, everytime he got it in gear it ripped past the 959. I did like how he brought up that sometimes it's best not to drive you heros, and with the F40 it was much better than he had it hyped up to be.

This whole season kind of sucked, to many boring cars. This last one would have been great if the based it around the F40. The 959 has never really stuck out to me as an exotic, it looks like a slightly morphed 911. The only Porsche I really like is the one that seems to be a love/hate for most people, the CGT. I love the odd look of it, and it makes one of the sweetest sounds my ears have ever heard. ![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
