Com'on, that does NOT channel the Evo look the way the SRT-8 does. It's not the styling language itself, but the fact that it looks so MUCH like the Mitsu from the front. Color me baffled that so many here think it looks cool. To each his own I guess.

I just think that the big black colored splotch up front was a bad move. Keep it body matching like the R/T and it'd look a lot better.

Don't you mean "I think it looks great + It's *Italian*"
since Chrysler is owned by Fiat which is an Italian company

Anyone feeling extra PS gung ho today?

I'm just glad they dropped the stupid "retro" bump on the rear fenders.

This car screams retro compared to the last one... which works in it's favour. Being original is overated, doing what is proven to be loved is always a smart move. I wish I had the money, because the more I look at this car... dare I say I might want a new SRT-8 Charger than a Challenger??

Looks way badass to me. Especially the back, just plain sexy.

Has similar styling to the evo, so what?

Also, there's no other game in town in the US for what Dodge charges. A CTS-V is going to be nearly twice as much money.
I'm not arguing that Dodge is doing this on the cheap and there are few other choices for this market but with the SRT coming in around $39K and CTS-V at $65K that's about 69% more....a far cry from the twice as much as you're thinking.

For the same money as the SRT, you could have a 3 year old 35K mile E63 AMG Benz that would run circles around the Dodge, hold its value much better, and you'd have a significantly better built car. Not trying to ruffle any feathers, just making a counter-point.

Comparing used cars to new models is absurd. Personally, I'd rather have a new car with a full warranty and not have to pay for ridiculous MB repair bills. I swear this argument of "I'd rather have a used X" comes up in every single thread. This new SRT8 Charger fills a void in the market, I'm pretty sure no one at Dodge is sitting down saying "damn we are going lose a bunch of sales to 3 year old used MB E63's" LOL... Let's try and be realistic

buying new cars over used is absurd....and that 3 year old AMG is still under warranty too.

Dodge dropping the cross hair grille in 2012. Not that its really news but may make the front look better on this one.
