I'd say either get the auto (since they seem to be just as fast as the Getrags) or wait until Ford gets on top of the issue. I can assure you, the guys who worked on bringing the new 5.0 to market DON'T want defective units getting pushed out the factory doors. Of course, that still doesn't fix the issue of ******* dealerships trying to dick people out of their warranties. I guess that's a whole different discussion in the making, though.
