Different front and rear bumpers on the later ones, and they lost that awful center stripe. Different vents too.

Still love C4 ZR-1's and the 1996 GS hardtops.

Not doing a lot to convince me, but then I think the c5 z06 wheels are among the ugliest things ever. But they beat the stock salad shooters on the c4 I guess...

Correct.
A few months ago I found like an 85 at the junkyard before it was really pulled apart. I thought I'd look for some spare parts if I ever needed them. Not a damned thing off that older model would work on mine, if I so needed it. They changed a lot on them over the years.

Well then you're definitely not going to like my old car then LOL.
My very first Corvette (with OEM C5 Z06 rims/tires on it in the 2nd pic):

I wouldn't mind a C4 Grand Sport to park beside my C2 Grand Sport!

I really hate that GM abused the Grand Sport name with the C6 At least the C4 was a special model, somewhat special engine, etc, but the C6 pays absolutely zero homeage to the original Grand Sports.

JD AMG definitely has it right, when considering C3s, the late 60's, early 70's are where it is at. Not that I hate the other C3's but they are bland and underpowered by comparison.

uhmm...C5 Z06 are one of the greatest stock GM wheels IMO. Its just that everybody bought em for their Vette and Fbody...

That pic is a (bad) photochop of the Camaro and a corvette rear end.

Actualy looks a bit on par with the Jalopnik renderings... I think we can expect something similar. Don't think the chevy badge will make the cut though...

I think the Jalopnik rendering is awesome as long as it has round headlights.

I guess I am the odd ball. To me, my personal preference I don't like any corvette of any generation until the C5.

Everyone drools and raves about the sixties style corvettes but they do nothing for me.

I had a good read on it and it seems those pics are backed with an informant who has seen/sat in the C7 and he says its really accurate. I think it looks nice.

Agreed.
There are so many renderings and concept photos flying around and internet info travels so fast nowadays that one person's ideas actually somehow get morphed into 'fact' or final product in some circles LOL.

Let's all please wait for the actual GM photos before passing judgement, k?
