Here's the quote from the article.... sorry I don't read Dutch, but I assume it says the new M45 will have a 4.5 Liter 340hp V8....

Update ++ Mehr Fotos ++ Infiniti, die Luxus-Marke von Nissan auf dem US-Markt, zeigt auf der New York Auto Show die Studie des neuen M45, die bereits in Tokio als Nissan Fuga gezeigt wurde. Das Concept Car soll das Styling und die Technik der kommenden Mittelklasselimousine vorweg nehmen.
Die flach verlaufende Motorhaube mit den angedeuteten Schulterpartien soll zusammen mit der kraftvollen Silhouette und den 19 Zoll großen Leichtmetallrädern für einen sportlichen Auftritt der Limousine sorgen. Im Innenraum stechen besonders das Fahrer orientierte Cockpit und die gehobene Ausstattung ins Auge.
Unter der Fronthaube des M45 Concept arbeitet ein 4,5-Liter großer V8-Motor mit 340 PS, der seine Kraft über eine Fünfgang-Automatik, die sich auch manuell per Schalthebel oder Paddels am Lenkrad bedienen lässt, an die Hinterräder weitergibt.
Technische Highlights des M45 sind eine aktive Hinterradaufhängung, welche die Fahrwerksgeometrie automatisch an die gefahrene Geschwindigkeit und den Lenkwinkel anpasst und ein Fahrspur-Warnsystem, das den Fahrer beim versehentlichen Verlassen der Spur warnt. In Serie gehen könnte die Technik des Concep-Car bereits im Herbst 2005, wenn der neue Infiniti M45 seinen Marktstart feiert.

M45 Finalizes Fuga Idea
Infiniti's M45 concept due at the show on Thursday morning ends up looking a lot like the recent Fuga concept from the Tokyo motor show - which is exactly what insiders have been saying since the concept Fuga bowed at the '03 Japanese show. While officially still a concept, the Infiniti M45 Concept is touted by Nissan as pretty representative of the 2006 M45, which should be in showrooms about a year from now. The concept vehicle's lovely exterior shape is backed up by a 340-hp version of Nissan's 4.5-liter V-8 (AB:WOO HOO) also found in the current M as well as the Q45. The chassis is an updated version of the FM architecture that underpins the G35 series and the FX crossover vehicle. The new version of FM of course supports the Nissan 3.5-liter V-6 as well as the V-8, suggesting that Nissan will take a BMW 5-Series tack with the new car and offer a range of six- and eight-cylinder engines. Nineteen-inch wheels and tires grip the road and Nissan says lightweight body pieces help reduce poundage as well as lift. The five-speed automatic has a semi-manual mode, and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and new adjustable rear suspension help to increase stability. The cabin sports power reclining rear seats and surround sound with 14-speaker 5.1-channel decoding, as well as an "Intelligent Key" system with push button start.
