Unhappy GM Recalling 3,000 Vehicles for Air Bag Problems

Have recently come across this news and article. (http://www.autotransportdepot.com/blog/?p=117)

How do you see it? They already had a series of Recalls. Why automakers are not capable of producing cars that would not need a recall?

Mistakes happen in any production, be thankful the companies are fixing them. The real cause for concern is the recall that doesn't happen--fight club anyone?

From the article GM said the problem stemmed from a faulty machine used in the manufacture of the vehicles themselves. GM said it had identified the problem machine and corrected the issue in the factory but was concerned that some vehicles may have been released before the repairs to the machine were made. Hence the recall.

most recalls despite idiotic stereotypes are production related. not human error.

and 3,000 vehicles is nothing though i noticed other recalls in that article.

no you didnt, you wrote it/work for the company. just had to point out the obvious

anyways.. errors happen. Has there ever been a car made that never had a recall or issue? no. Mechanical parts fail plain and simple. And with it only being 3000 cars, thats just a fraction from the amount they produced
