I don't think they plan on phasing out Dodge. It would be an incredibly stupid decision. With all the new brands, I think they're trying to establish more specific markets for their vehicles. SRT is obviously for performance-oriented vehicles, Jeep is the off-road(ish) brand, Ram is trucks and other body-on-frame vehicles, Chrysler is mid-level vehicles, and Dodge is the more mainstream brand. It would be naive to think they don't have a plan here, but I'll be the first to admit that I'm not sure it's a smart one.
