Chevy Reveals Details for 2014 Copo Camaro
They'll probably cost around $85 to $90,000. Still breathing? Good. There's more info.
As always, they'll be getting the full suite of NHRA approved safety gear out of the box. Instead of an IRS, they have a solid rear axle, along with a chassis optimized for drag racing. Of course, they've gone to work under the hood as well. Future buyers will have their choice from a naturally-aspirated 350, 396, 427, a supercharged 350 (2.9L whipple), or an even MORE supercharged 350 (4.0L whipple).
Chevy will only be putting out 69 of them in 2014. The first Copo's came out in 1969, so this is a little tip of the hat to that fun fact. Number one of this year's batch will be going up for auction at Barret-Jackson in support of wounded veterans.
You can register for a chance to buy one on the Chevy Performance site here.

GM can post the horsepower numbers all they want, when they did for the GEN5 camaro CoPo it was clearly under rated or all the current dynos have inflated numbers that we have gotten use to.
