Didn't mean to steal your glory. Was not going to search to post the official press release and unveiling with videos.

Most have known about this car for months it's not breaking news.

They should call it,

"Who gives a crap if it's big? You people complained about how you wished muscle cars were still like they were in the old days...big and badass. We make your wish come true and add comfort and more power into the mix and all you do in return is whine about 400 pounds."

The inner headlight air intake is a nice touch. Buy why the hell not make it a dual snorkle and use both inner headlights?

That is a great looking car - we'll see if it can contend with the ZL1.

I don't think they had any intention of that, really. It's more of a really smooth ride while having decent capability to motivate when called upon. Even if it's as quick and fast as expected, the seats tell us this car isn't built for road course duty. Even if it can hold traction, the driver will be lucky to have the seat belt keep him/her in the same zip code in anything less than a sweeping turn... cause the comfy seat won't be helping!

That said, I have no question, it will compete easily in a drag race against the ZL1 and might just give the GT500 a run.

It is badass for sure.

I would choose this over the ZL1 or GT500 any day of the week for what I would be doing with it. (unless the price is retarded high which is possible)

Most likely because of the placement of the airbox.

I wonder if they will make improvements in the handling department to compete with Chevys major step ups in that area. I also wonder if the ZL1 will get the necessary power bump now that it is the least powerful of the three with both of the others being over the 600hp mark.

Had they been using it for that before? I'm just wondering because it makes sense to use the air openings for... air...

I kinda wonder why they wouldn't have made the adjustment just for their high end car and simply come up with a new place for the sensors. Eh... if it still hauls and has enough air... no big deal.

yes they have. If you look at the 2015 392 it has a different front fascia. The sensor is right at the bottom center. The hell cat uses that space for cooling of the heat exchanger/radiator i think.

Rear is still too fat. Looks okay from the front, otherwise nah. Power will be nice and it comes with cool options.
