Nissan celebrates NISMO's 20th anniversary with 350Z S-Tune GT

What better way to celebrate NISMO’s 20th anniversary than with a run of special cars from Nissan’s racing department? Leading the pack is the 350Z S-tune GT sporting unique front and rear facsias inspired by Japanese race cars, topped by a large adjustable rear wing. The package is finished off with 19-inch NISMO wheels.

Under the hood sits a 300-hp powerplant, while Ferrari F50 brakes make sure the car can stop as fast as it can accelerate. NISMO sells the S-tune GT only in Japan, but we’re assured Nissan plans to introduce the car outside the home market. Whether that includes the States remains to be seen.

Oh man no kidding..
Too bad they could never be half of what Porsche is
Screw you Nissan! Everything you make SUCKS! Can't say I'm a big fan of the 350Z, or Nismo. Put the two together and that will make for one hated car.
I wonder how much they are going to try and get for that toilet...

How can you not like a Maxima? Or for that matter, the G35 from Infiniti (Nissan), which out-stopped every production car MotorTrend EVER tested besides the Z06 corvette. If you don't like Nissan, you don't like crab soup! Granted, that 350Z is ugly.

The 350Z isn't my favorite I'm lukewarm to the styling. I love the look of the G35, I just wish the interior and trunk wasn't so damn small. When they make a G35 GTR, then I'll change my tune for sure

Don't really like the kit, but loooove Nissan and what they're doing with NISMO. S-Tune parts are supposedly covered under warranty while R-Tune parts are strictly for the track. Still it's nice to see factory aftermarket support as strong as NISMO. They still aren't too much of a presence in the US, but they definitely are in the land of the rising sun. While I don't like the kit, I LOVE NISSAN and the direction Ghosn has taken the company in the past few years. The Maxima, 350Z, G35S/C, FX35/45, and upcoming M35/45 are all big w00ts in my book. The Altima isn't too bad either for the price. And the Titan is a better first effort at a full size pickup than the T100 or Tundra were. I don't think I'd ever buy one, but props to Nissan for building products people actually want. The next Frontier is supposed to pack a 4.0L version of the VQ making around 240-270hp.

I love the longer nose - still not sure about the tail and wings and what not.
The only nit I have to pick about 350Z and G35 styling is that the cars are a bit "thick" - tall and slab sided in relation to their length. I prefer my cars long, low, and pointy. See Exhibit A) 1984 300ZX; Exhibit B) C4 Corvette; Exhibit C) 2nd 3rd and 4th gen F body; Exhibt D) 1971 Buick Riviera
