I hate the 6th gen and that car you posted. Especially for the money.

Yeah, I have nothing positive to say about this. Not that my 4th Gen is a shining example of automotive perfection, but damn.

Not a fan, the silver one is a little better., but still. It kind of reminds me of the new Silverados.

I'm reading where there is no real expected improvements to the cars performance other than the SS getting the 10 speed. I must say that I'm not too impressed with this update either. If I was in the market for a GEN6 I think I would just jump on a clean, low mileage 17/18 SS 1LE instead of getting this updated version.

I think there are a lot of folks who are going to do just that. I'm really curious as to how the 2.0-liter will sell, however, as I just don't see a lot of market for it? But I'd be curious to see how it does on a road course.

Maybe it will grow on me lol. With that A10 it will probably beat the new Mustang every time, so maybe that's all that was needed in Chevy's eyes

Camaro continues to get worse. After the 4th gen, still have my 2002 SS, I moved on to Corvette. Not been disappointed with that decision since the return of Camaro. Big blocky and cheap looking. Although a 4th gen may not be perfect looking the right appearance modifications get it pretty close and you can really get an aggressive look out of one.

I don't like the whole 'follow the crowd' with the big black chunk of the front end. Come on.. It is overplayed by now.

Was the Camaro catfish front end liked when it first aired in 1998?

Good point. I like the current 2018 better, but then, I liked 97 better than 98 when it was first released also. The 2019 might grow on me, maybe.

I was one of the few who actually liked the update to the Camaro front in 1998. I always felt that the hard lined headlight area of the '93-'97 front just wasn't consistent with the rest of the car's styling. '98 is when it all came together for me (though I do still very much appreciate the 3rd gen heritage found in the early 4th gen front end).

Having said that, I've never particularly liked the 6th gen Camaro styling. This update makes it much worse, other than the silver convertible (I'm guessing that's a V6 car though?)

Camaro has become over-styled, similar to C7. After 4th gens went away, I pretty much lost interest in any new Camaro due to styling. 5th gen wasn't really my thing and 6th gen has gotten even worse. On the other hand, C6 was a big improvement over C5, but C7 has been a step in the wrong direction (drastically over-styled).

Correct, that is a V6 or turbo-4 car. The SS trim has the Silverado/Lexus front end.

Being interested in F-bodes during the 1970-1981 and 1982-02 years I prefer them to be long, wide and low as they were. Although 67-69s were popular I never cared for the look. The Retro Bumblebee years and now represent the small 1st Gen come back bloated due to safety regs. At least the previous fat gen did not have the numerous curves and waves as the latest gen does.

Well there is always the clean lines of the Challenger. 44XXlbs of two door coupe. Argh

It's got a big, poofy nose in general - LIKE ALL CARS ARE GOING TO. Pedestrian crash standards are making all cars have the same shaped front end. So we will all have a nice, cushy spot to land on a hood of a car when we get hit.
