GM Looks to the Future with Electric Crate Motor
By Brett Foote

GM's eCrate is a different kind of crate motor that converts gas vehicles to electric power.

Most green energy doesn't work good, and is unreliable. Right now the people pushing all this are just trying to scam money for a product that is junk. Green energy is crooked, they get government kickbacks etc., they want to put the oil companies out of business, everything they demonize about big oil they are themselves.

A regretful concept at best. Allow me to be the first to raise the flag on such an offering....

Too much transmission between the motor and wheels. I would be much more impressed by a crate electric axle.

Big Daddy Don G. claims it will be the future of drag racing. All that needs to be done is for everyone to jump on board and work to phase the combustion engine out of existence. You know charging stations everywhere just insert your bank or credit card and while waiting you can go take care of some shopping or have a bite to eat. Certainly all of us Americans have no problem getting along and we're more than happy to give up our old cars and trucks to buy these new electric vehicles. I'm sure all the heavy equipment and commercial trucks used on a daily basis can be replaced with all electric options as well.

Next thing you know we'll have country musicians writing songs about how their truck left them now.

The future is electric... But we're not there yet. Thankfully.

So glad I wasn't born this decade. It is going to suck for many young people as the future becomes boring, bland and symmetrical. Heck they can't even play with Mr. Potato Head anymore.

These clowns?
Don't miss my point, it charges from a wall outlet with electricity supplied by a coal fired power plant.

Yeah I think we had self driving electric car that caused a fatality about a month ago in the Spring/Woodlands area just North of Houston but you know I've never seen a firearm take action upon itself. Now we got Dominoes entertaining the idea of un-manned pizza delivery vehicles. Curios to see how that unfolds! I can see one being hijacked..LOL
