XLR's advanced 32-valve, 4.6-liter Northstar V8 engine can change its valve timing, cam phasing, and throttle control to compensate for road conditions, driving styles, and even differences in fuel-intake. A new air induction system improves airflow, and noise and vibration are minimized.

The XLR is a nice looking ride. I guess Caddy is doing their best not to be just an old fogie's car company.

I like them, especially the XLR, awesome car and built in Bowling Green, KY alongside the Corvette (and using the same basic platform) with a higher output Northstar V8. I love my Northstar.

I'm really looking forward to the upcoming CTSv though, LS1/LS6 powered 6 speed Cadillac sport sedan, that will rock!

I think they are badass...the V-series cars that will be coming out will be mean...

The new CTS will probably have a lowered stance, its getting a mesh grill on the front, kind of like you see on some of the escalades....they are not totally sure on the HP rating....

I wouldn't mind having a CTSV series, nice old LS1 with a heads/cam package...lol..

I dig the new Cadillac look as well, though I think the longer, lower and wider the car gets the better it looks - see CTS vs XLR.

It's brashly and arrogantly American, not copying the European or Japanese cars, instead they are coming up with something that is flat out in your face Cadillac.

It's the kind of strategy they need to persue to suceed in the competition with BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, Infiniti and Acura.

I agree, Long Live American styling! GM needs to lead the way in style not latch on to euro designs!

I would have to agree, too. I think the lines look sweet. The XLR is just plain pimp. I wouldn't mind having it as a second car.

I saw the XLR at the Houston Auto Show, and it looks even better in person.

I am currently trying to persuade the wife to make her next vehicle the CTS.

Look's like their real easy to wax. How about those wagon wheels! Just a little to much like a box for me, but I'd love to drive one. If it performs I could get used to the view from the inside!
