This topic is currently being hotly debated on two other, very long and humerous threads. We probably do not need a third.

For the record..............still no video or correctly dated time slip. The call my buddy at the track just doesn't cut it for me. In fact I am pretty sure we ran in the 7's first.............here, call my buddy Tom. He'll back it up, he was at the track when we did it!! Sound good???
Wait, it was in a magazine....................it must be true.

Ya, we went 7's at Milan this afternoon. Track conditions were a little bit slippery but we were able to keep it together for a solid 7.86!
Watch for the latest article comming out in Popular Hot Rodding for the proof! It say's best ET 7.86 right over the line that say's 1500 rwhp.
Congrats Chris!
Tom

Hey, APE guys, I speak for myself and a number of other site users when I say, enough is enough, you've made your point regarding Hardcore's inability or refusal to properly substantiate their two reported 7-second runs. I'm pretty sure all 33,000 site users are now aware of, and some may even share, your skepticism or frustration on this topic.

"Hardcore Motorsports Cracks the 7-second Barrier"
On January 19th 2005 in Florida the Hardcore team set a new record for 'the world's quickest LS1-powered street-legal car'.
The quickest time as of this article is 7.94 seconds at 176.53 mph. On another pass Jason McNeil ran a 7.96 at 175 mph.
Congrats to Ronnie Duke and team of Hardcore Motorsports for kicking *** with a F-Body and a LS1.
Rock on!
