I think it looks ok, not great, but ok. I agree, not sporty enough and too family looking, the 4 doors hurt it. IF, I was looking for a 4 door family car, it'd be at the top of my list.

The front end is just too squared off in the front. From the picture of it powersliding, it looks like it is trying to be a 4 door Viper now that I think about it.

Is it just me or is the Stratus coupe one of Dodge's better looking vehicles? Amazing they can make a a V6 FWD car look better then their top of the line performance V8 car.

That's because it's a Mitsubishi.

I like it, but not as competition for cars like mustang/F-body. As far as 4-door sedans go though, I can't think of any that I'd like better at the moment.

If the current Bonneville GXP was just RWD and had an LS2 rather than the Northstar, then I'd probably pick that just becasue it's GM. But I gotta say, an LS2 RWD Bonneville GXP vs that 6.1L Charger SRT8 would be a cool street fight. Too bad it won't happen.

It's still a muscle car, like the ones you mentioned. Same thrills, extra practicality. The LX Chryslers absolutely destroy the Impala SS and GXP Pontiacs.

But an Impala is supposed to be a 4-door. This like Chevy making a 4-door Camaro.

The originals were coupes only. Ditto for the Marauder, etc. Did you forget they were producing four cylinder, front-wheel drive Chargers not so long ago?

I agree that it's still muscle, just that since it's a 4-door I don't feel that it'll sell big towards former F-body or Mustang owners. Not that anything is wrong with that, I just think it'll be most competitive sales wise in the mid-size luxury performance sedan catigory rather than aganist other sports cars. I remember reading an article that Chrysler was hoping this car would compete with Mustang sales, and I really just don't see that happening to any large degree sales wise. For someone that absolutely wants a coupe, I just don't think this car will sway them.

On the other hand, I think this car will steel quite a few sales away from the upcoming LS4 Grand Prix GXP, as the Charger will be RWD. A RWD 400hp LS2 Bonneville GXP would be excellent competition for this Charger. I know Bonneville is on the way out after '05 so that won't happen, but at least GM should step up and make the Grand Prix GXP a RWD car. GM has excellent V8 motors to work with, but they keep bolting them to miserable FWD transmissions.

I didn't like it at first. After seeing those pics of the black one, i think it actually looks pretty good. It's a lot better than the concept drawings that I saw. They just have to get rid of the 4 door and make a 6 speed and i think it would be pretty sick
