I wonder why they didn't use the power stroke here. There is a good opportunity to have a truck with insane torque and power.

I think it might be that they are still at 570 ft-lbs, while chevy and dodge are at 605 and 610 respectively.

If SVT messed with it, they'd get a lot more than 600 ft/lbs. It's reletively easy to get 1000ftlbs with diesels.

Agreed...I thought this post was a joke when I read the title. Even if they've planned on naming it the Tsunami for a while it was in poor taste not to change it for obvious reasons.

They cancelled the Lightning for that superpower schoolbus turd? That just makes me angry. They could still salvage this by making it into a cool 4x4 or something.

This powerplant, also slated for use in the next generation Lightning, is more than adequate for propelling Ford's largest and heaviest weapon.

Eventually the automakers are going to run out of names that are natural phenomenons and weather patterns.

Introducing the Chevy Wind and Ford Freezing Rain to compete with the Dodge El Nino!!!

I've been on this board for about 3-4yrs now but I've never felt the need to post, until now.

I fell for this same article and turns out it's just an april fools joke. I repeat, this article is not official, Tsunami does not exist and never will.
Come on, did you really believe that SVT would hot rod an f-350 and Call it "tsunami" after all these people have been killed?

I didn't think that Ford would be dumb enough to name a vehicle the tsunami, what with the 300,000 people that recently died.
