The Jetta equivalent of the GTI, the new GLI will used VAGs awesomely smooth 2.0t FSI 4 banger. As with the GTI that has already been released in Europe, I am not a fan of the red stripe around the grille, and IMO I think the new Jetta looks a little too tall. Whereas the new Audis look HOT IMO, I think the Mark V Golf/GTI and the latest Jetta look a little blah. The 2.0t FSI is a hot motor but it's already available in the cool little A3 and the dead sexy A4, as well as the Jetta's Golf/GTI siblings.

The new fuel injection (FSI) in the A3 is surprisingly quick to respond IMO.
I took one of the A3 test vehicles out (manual stick) and it is surprising quick. The FSI seems to have made a nice difference. The GLI should see better performance because of it. Also, the GLI we have in the lobby has some nice seats that wrap around you. They remind me of the Ricaro seats in the S4.
