I love the looks of this car, especially because it has some cues that are more old camaro than Challenger. I wonder if DC did this to pull some of us over to the darkside. I just wish they would "pony" size it.

this car is all challenger...any resemblence to an old camaro is purely coincidental

oh hell yes the hood is functional, the scoop/filter setup is the same as the 4th gen RamAir and SS f-bodys. You can tell from the filter placement. Doubt they will, but the flaps on the scoops would be awsome if they made it to production.

The interior is looking sharp too. Sticking with the whole "retro" theme of the car, but not overdoing it like the stang, and/or Camaro leaked renderings.

Being a GM faithfull is like being a Saints fan. I just keep shaking my head and asking the big man "why?" (those of you also from LA should understand )

those are some nice pics, but that thing is just begging for some big meats to replace the narrow looking tires. rims that big need wider tires to keep it from looking like 20's on a explorer or something. overall, very nice though. i love the way the "matte black" stripes on the hood are actually the exposed CF that the hood is made from. very cool

More pics to drool over. Well while we all bitch about how GM brass bitches when pics of their beloved Camaro hits the net, we can rejoice with pics of the sexy Challenger that will be unveiled at NAIAS. Unfortunatley it does look as though the car will be as big as people feared it would. I PRAY... PRAY that DC can keep the weight below at LEAST 3700 lbs. On a side note, that is one sharp looking interior. I like the toggle switches. I'd like a close up of the gauge cluster. **** seems a little small and hard to read. The best thing in all of those shots has to be the pistol grip shifter. Nice to see a manual trans hooked up to the new 6.1L Hemi. My prayers have been answered. 6.1L + 6 speed = GOD.

GM must be pissed. The Challenger has stolen any hope of the Camaro being the center of attention at NAIAS. GM will have to pull of a miracle in terms of design with the 5th Gen Camaro concept by showing something that looks a lot better than the "clay model" we all saw in those leaked photos.

This is DEF my next car! Talk about making it really look like an old challenger! There is nothing i would change on this car. The interior is so awesome! Great idea to use the pistol grip shifter

Dont get me wrong.I've been venting about GM alot the past couple days on a few of these threads, but I still know GM is capable of building a better sports car than Ford or Chrysler. I just hope they put the right people on the job, people who will make sure the Camaro once again has the performance edge, and while style is in the eye of the beholder; I hope they make somthing many of us can love, as we are currently falling for the Charger.
I KNOW they CAN, I DONT KNOW if they WILL.

If Camaro weight can be kept down it will easily dominate the new muscle from Ford and Dodge. However, the Challenger looks ten times better than the clay model of the camaro.
