Chevy Dominates Hot Rod mag Drag Week! Just picked up the latest issue of HOT ROD, in it they had the results of their Dag Week shootout (Race, then drive 300 miles to the next track, for 5 days! no suport vehicels)
Winners:
NA Small Block: Eric Niefert, 68 Chevy camaro- 11.118@ 119mph
PA Small Block: Jim "Parish" Neuenfeldt, 03 Silverado- 10.242@ 134mph
Overall Winner: Carl Scott, 67 Chevy Nova- 8.58@ 157mph
NA Big Block: Jay Brown, 69 Mach 1- 10.6@ 126mph
Daily Driver: Brian Corrigan, 83 Merc. Capri-12.005@ 121mph
Not bad... chevys take 3 outa 5 (note: the Daily Driver class was shooting for an et of 12sec... Tom Fauglids 86 Monte SS tied in this class but lost due to a mph tie-breaker)
