C6R vs. C6/Z06--Wow!
I just saw a show about a test drive of the new Z06. There were 2 of them racing full out at Road Atlanta with Jeff Gordon driving one and they were really flying! They had 1.27g in at least one turn.
But then, with a 1/2 lap disadvantage, they rolled out a C6R. OMG was that thing fast!!! It passed both Z06's just entering turn 2 like they were sitting still. Now that's a machine!!
It reminded me of one time when I saw a Winston Cup car at 215mph pass a pace car doing 55mph on the backstretch at Daytona (pre-restrictor plate!)

What is awsome is that these driver's who are really hot lapping these cars can actually read the little g meter in the heads up display while going around corners really fast..if I was pulling 1.27 G's on a corner I am sure that I would not be able to check it on the g meter .. ..I think that is known as the pucker factor..
