Not really a huge surprise, from the reactions to the concept, GM figures they have a potential sales hit, and would really like to get it out there asap. I just hope if they do manage to get it out in 08 they don't rush it so much they have a crap load of first year problems

I'd rather hear the Z06 was getting 600bhp N/A and the blue devil was getting +700bhp FI considering we're talking about 7.0 ******* litres of engine.

I'm not sure what to believe regarding these rumors. I truly hope there is a race in Detroit to see who can get the next new pony car out first. If both the Camaro and Challenger are produced it will be a good time to be alive.
