Man we should be happy we are getting this. I don't care if it looked like a damn Pugeot as long as it had a rocking power plant at decent price.

Is it really going to be that heavy? If so I'm betting it will also be the most SOLID, rattle/squeak free muscle car/pony car the world has ever known.

Challenger > than all "retro" cars.

I'd buy a used c6 before ever consider buying that Camaro, even if it's only 65% done.

Damn , the front end is almost as butt-ugly as the rear . Personally , I think our late model F-bodies are way more smooth and aerodynamic looking than that bloated retro 69 two-ton behemoth . Damn , why can't they do better than that ? They need to start over with a clean sheet of paper . Maybe they could do it like Ford did back in 1993 when they showed everybody 3 different renderings of what the then new 1994 Mustang could look like & then everyone could vote for the best appearing vehicle .

Well, they did, the car is all new top to bottom but they just sort of borrowed a little bit from the past LOL.
They didn't quite go all the way like Ford did with the Mustang or Dodge is doing with the Challenger but they pay a nice homage to the 1st F-body with this car and it at least looks different than ANYTHING else out there right now...last thing we needed was another 350Z or RX8 clone.
I think the car might turn out to be an awesome driving experience in both power and handling and in time the looks will grow on people I think.

Only thing i don't like besides the NASTY interior quality is the little air inlet in the fron before the hood. Needs to be functional and can't just be white like shown in the picture it needs to be noticable there and not just blend in. Otherwise a nice SS, Z28 or bowtie in the grille and it'll be nice~cole~

I like it though. Hopefully the ls8 has good internals
The last thing I'm worried about is engine internals. The cast guts on the LS1 have worked fine for me. I'm worried about weight and driveline strength.

Must be dead around here, I was expecting a rise from the f-body faithful on my last post lol.

Honestly I'll reserve all judgement until they are sitting in showrooms and I can go buy one. If I get too excited now I'm sure I'll be disappointed..

I don't see why so many people think the new camaro is so ugly. I think it looks good...not great but good. I think once they hit the road and people are driving and putting there own personal touches on them more people will like it. There is a big group of people that think the fourth gen camaro in completely stock trim is not the best looking car, but once you add some small things to it like wheels, berger panel, hoods, spoilers, or whatever people like them more.
