Had to look this one up because my first thought was, "Why in the hell would someone want to bring back some of the crappiest cars of all time?"

As of Febraury of 2008, Hot Rod magazine reported (in it's April 2008 issue) that AMC has decided to go back into business. The magazine has already shown 10 - 15 of the cars that will return. The AMC executive said that they were trying to "revolutionize" their automobiles, while at the same time, give them their classic look. No specific date has been set for release, but will be released later on.
The Cover of this issue says "AMC IS BACK!: Coming to Kenosha, (Wisconsin) April 1." In the last page of the article there is an editors note: "So do you have your checkbook out ready to put down a depositon a new AMC car? If so, put it away, 'cause HOT ROD and Steve Stanford (Writer) have been jacking with you-April Fools!"
