Default W...t...f...?!

W...T...F...?! That is the title of this article in the latest issue of import tuner. April 2008 issue. (my roomate get them and he showed me this article)

This is exactly what the article says:

Hey guys, I've got a '98 Audi 1.8T that I wanted to get more performance from and was recommended to port and polish the intake and exhaust. I did a little research and found out abrasive material is used to do it a lot of times-like gritty sand. So I got with my friend who tunes Hondas and we decided to try it ourselves. We got a bag of sandblasting sand and hooked it up to the intake of the car and started it up. We wanted to let the engine suck in the sand through the intake so it would port it out and then push it out of the exhaust so it would port the exhaust manifold. I was worried that it might cause problems but my friend told me it would be okay as long as we didnt make boost and it get sucked in the turbo. After letting the car suck about half the badg of sand, the check engine light came on and the engine started bucking and kicking and sounding really weird. We stopped and hooked the car back up normal and took off the sand dupply. We tried to start it again and it was really hard. Once it started it wouldnt idle and kept making weird noises. We took it out and drove it and it started to make scraping and knocking noises. Help! Can anyone tell me what to do! My buddy only does Hondas so he doesnt know much about Audis.

The magazine replied:

Wow. We're not even going to touch this one...

This has been posted on every car forum on the internet at least once. That magazine is about three years behind the times.

Well, my friend who paints hondas, said the best way to paint your car is to go to a drive-through carwash and load paint where the water goes and clearcoat where the soap goes. Well I tried it and it looks like CRAP, it's all runny and splotchy it didn't even stick, he only paints hondas and don't know much about LS1s, can you help me?

It was an internet joke. That has been around for a while. Some probably thought it was funny to submit it to that magazine.

Even if it was a joke, you wouldnt hear about a guy with an LS1 saying the same thing.

I think of these people every day. I am old enough to retire but won't. Not sure these people will pay my SS.

There is noting super about me. I intend to vote soon. These two *** clowns might not support my person and we all get one vote.
