I thought Dodge said all challengers for this year were spoken for? Stated that before production started.

Just spoke with a dealership in Ohio...they got an autographed 08 in Hemi Orange built by Dodge for Mario Andretti. He didn't give me full details, but ther car has a bit more HP and some tweaks.$48,500.00. Another dealer I saw has one for $79,999.99, but I think he's on crack. From what I've read and seen, the 09's are gonna be better anyway and you can get one for under sticker.

Probably the really GOOD crack actually, like top shelf, 'Grade A pure' crack I would imagine.
And the guy who pays that amount for it (along with the guy that might pay over $100k for a Nissan GTR) is likely also buying his crack from the very same supplier.

I bet they were if the dealers would of honored the MSRP. Who the hell would pay 60-80k for a Challenger when they could get a Z06! Thats just as plain as day.

I would do it in second if they were building ONLY the SRT-8 models and also building just a few thousand of them forever (think collector car)...but they're not doing it that way so the car is worth only MSRP to me and nothing more.
