true.... but Nine Ball in your opinion sound wise which sound better with a full exhaust? cuz I've heard a couple C6Z with LT's and bullets . Im pretty sure that could bring some attention to a stock looking C6Z from a Viper...

Sorry, but my one complaint about the Viper is the sound. After being in one and revving it I confirmed it. Its really lacking and sounds droopy.
You can't say these sound worse:

Yeah, but with his abysmal business rep/dishonesty, he would mis-manage/run the brand/marque into the ground!

Still a better fate (I guess) than letting TOY (or any other foreign nameplates) get the rights to the name/brand.

WOW...just watched the video...that thing is definetly capable of mid teen's! You guys weren't joking about the rev limiter and I counted twice that he missed his shift. I was confused why he didn't ever go into 5th in the straights, looks like he just chilled in 4th for the longest time.
It's apparent from the vid that the Viper's gearbox isn't geared properly for the "ring", if they re-geared it specifically for the ring where they wouldn't always be in a bad spot I'm sure that it could do so much better...but if they did that it wouldn't exactly be the ACR configuration! I bet the Viper forum's are a buzz with excitement but bummed about the shifts and gearing.

Here's the vid...

Check out how badly that shifter vibrates!!

Oh IC...didn't know he had such a bad rap, I'm not into the viper's all that much! Well then in that case yeah, hopefully the people who buy it, if that is what's gonna happen will do right by the fanbase + Viper name.

Around my area I personally see quite abit more 03+ Vipers than C6 Z06s. I love the Viper, especially the coupe, but I would take the Z06/ZR1 anyday, it looks better, but, if I could have both, I would.

With the Viper ACR pretty much a racecar, I have absolutely no problem with it beating the ZR1, which is supposed to be an everyday supercar.

Congrats Chrysler on making a sick Viper!

Viper is much better looking than any of the Vettes (especially a coupe). But, it sounds like a tuba getting assfucked by a vacuum cleaner. I just cannot stand the sound. If there were a Viper with a V8...I would find that much better than a C6.

+1 couldn't have said it any better.

The Corvette will never sound like that VICIOUS CAT HOWL that comes from the Viper.

That engine note along with any Porsche Flat 6 can play in my head for eternity....

People complained the GTR is too easy too drive...

Now the Viper is too hard to drive? LOL

This thing, out of nowhere slaps **** around like it's nobody's business! I thought the ZR-1 was fast, which journalists report is as easy riding or easier than the Z06, but this Viper makes a strong statement with such a simple formula: Big motor, Big brakes, and well-tuned Suspension... No electronic aids, gotta adjust the suspension with your own tools, no digital readouts... I can't believe how awesome it is, but I started getting suspicious after the 911 GT2, Viper ACR, C6 Z06, and GTR comparo... But I really didn't expect it to beat the ZR-1 too.

Damn...

i would love a GTS. IMO, viper>vette in terms of looks, although the c6 z06 gives it a good run for its money.

I love the sound of the Viper. It stands out from a crowd, and is instantly distinctive.

Gotta love the V10 M5/M6s,along with the Porsche Carrera. They rev a good bit higher, but still sound incredible IMO.

The LSX engines sound great. But not as good as a BBC...

Sorry but V10's don't sound the best, IMO.

Give that car a good gearbox and paddle shifters like a ferrari and it would be much faster.

Good so now the fanboy arguments between the ZR1 and the GTR can end right? Cuz the Viper just shut them the *** up! Go Dodge!
