how do you take out front seats on 06 cts

how do you take out front seats on 06 cts

i have an 06 cts that the front seats stopped working...how do you take out the seats..i see 1 torx bolt on right rear of seat and that is it...where are the other bolts if there is any and how do you get the seat out?

the seats arent the issue...if both arent
working its a fuse or electrical related.

there is a fuse pannel under the hood
and 2 under the rear seat.

Should be 2 bolts at the rear of the seat and 2 hooks that go into the floor pan in the front. Unbolt the rear and tilt forward/left up and back to remove the hooks. It's a PITA.

I'm assuming non-V? In that case, I think your car is telling you it wants V seats. I happen to know somebody with a spare set...

Drill a 3'4 inch hole in the back seat and use a sawzall and just trim around the seat. After you pull the seat out you'll be able to see the hidden bolts/clips.

What 07CTS-V said. Pull the two bolts, tilt them forward and slide back and up. And they are heavy! I did mine by myself but two people would be better.
