Edit: Guess not, even though it says there is.
As for the altitude tuning, is the same true of the V1?
But yeah, quit making all this power with the '09. It's hard enough as it is to try to stop thinking about getting one.

The alt correction is there, and it works, But alot slower and with alot less math. When you First start the car or any time the MAP sensor reads 100 kpa or the Starting point of the map on key on, it will try to resample itself to make sure it moves back to that spot.
That is why on a blower car, some people have issues because they dont modify that system as it will "RECENTER" itself while you are in boost thinking it changed in baro.

Oh okay. Makes sense. I have one of your tunes for my car btw and am really happy with it. I reason for all the questions is that I just moved from CA (200 ft) to WY (6100 ft).

Lived in Laramie for a year to go to Wyotech, coming from Cali hotness to Frigid Cold, 750 Person City Population Laramie was quite the Ssshhock, and COLD!!

You always get Free updates with your tune so if you do some A/f checks or run it on a dyno somewhere and send the sheet with the computer, i would gladly retune it for your altitude if you think it is worth the effort. I do retunes all the time for people. The more info i get the better it is.

Not really my decision. Air Force. But yeah, I miss Cali really bad. Not to mention, my cars are sooo much slower here.

Ok here goes just the first stage. The car bone stock is making 429.47 hp and 423.46 to the wheels. I made 5 pulls and they all matched that within 1 hp so i know it is accurate.
I thought the engine dyno that GM posted for the LSA was 556/551. Your numbers show a 23% drivetrain loss, this seems higher than normal-is GM lying about their engine dyno figures???
Someone correct me if my math or statement is incorrect,,,

The ENGINE may make that amount when on the engine dyno, but they use a different exhaust system. The one on this V is VERY restrictive. I would say once that is replaced, it will bring the drivetrain loss to a normal 18%

GM are arseclowns if they are in the knowledge that the stock V2 exhaust robs 5% of the engine's power. Does this mean the V2 that ran at 'The Ring' was 25HP less than could have been with an aftermarket exhaust.
If this is correct, every V2 owner better dump those cheap pipes!!

Well they have to make it Quiet for several reasons. It is a caddy!
They dont lie when they say it makes a set amount of hp. Because it probably does make that power at the engine, but that is with a good exhaust.
In that picture above on the other page i showed the one section that is flat. The other flat spot is near the rear of the car before the Diff.

My V is louder than my C6 at idle, but not a WOT; I put my exhaust on my V one week after learning B&B was the route to go. If anyone keeps the stock exhaust on the V2 I will assume the Mrs. is wearing the pants in the family!

I'm currently within spitting distance of those numbers in my '05 V1 (running a maggie with an 8" crankshaft balancer) and I'm very nervous about the differential. That's one of the huge benefits of the new '09 V.
And I can assure you the stock pistons love absorbing that much power.
I refuse to believe reliability of the new LSA motor won't be significantly better than a boosted LS6/LS2.
