Default CTS-V with auto old/new ?

what have you guys done about putting auto's in these things? What is in the new V?

I heard the trans tunnel is too small for an auto. After trying to cram my fat paws in there, I believe it. I think the new car was designed to accept the auto form the outset, so I'm sure it fits a whole lot better.

Yeah auto in the 2004-2007 v just wont fit without ALOT of cutting. I thought about it and figured out everything that would need to be done, but the time and cost would be too high.

The new v has both options, The tunnel Is HUGE on the new frame.
