headlights sun damaged! anyone got a nice set! pm me!
thread change... cost caught me off gaurd. goin to try some other ways to fix them first.

Have you tried wetsanding and buffing them? Mine had all kinds of nasty spiderweb cracks in the top surface from the sun, but it was superficial.
If you're nervous about doing it yourself then take it to a good body shop, but most CTS headlights can be made to look brand new with careful sanding and buffing.

ya i am goin to do that! from what i have found out ill try that before buying cause now that i own a caddy i am seeing what it cost to replace stuff! knew it was high but it is 2x more then i excepted...

start with wet 2000 grit and sand the entire headlight, then use a good rubbing compound with a small buffing wheel. If they are still pretty rough, go down to 1500 wet. Ive done countless headlights and Ive almost always got them back to mint condition. Unless the oxidization goes all the way through the plastic, then your sol.

that kit sucks....tried it, returned it......get urself sandpaper 400/1000/2000 and go at them. then use an orbital buffer with cutting pad to finish them then go with plastic or scratch x etc and some layers of polish wax etc
