Default Sagging front grill

Ive noticed recently that the sides of my upper front grill are beginning to sag which truly makes the gap between the hood and the bumper unappealing, and causes the car to not look as sharp, I attached a pic of rippenhard's V to show you what Im speaking of. Anyone got any solutions to help fix the sag without ghetto-rigging it? Thanks.

Does your car have the plastic "skid" plate that goes from the front bumper back towards the engine?

Replace the grill insert.

yes it does, but i removed it some time ago, could this be a needed support piece?

2c5, I dont think that would solve anything, as I dont think its the grill but the way its supported.

Is the plastic surround sagging or the grill mesh itself?

Im not quite sure Ill have to go look at it. Either way, is their a solution. Im think some of the holes for the rivets have expanded due to the sun over the years causing more play.....but I could be wrong. Im not really sure how the grill assembly is held into place.
