Good episode. Aired a month or so ago IIRC. The best part was the Challenger not being there so they went an bought one.

That said, I wait with baited breath every Sunday for newe episodes of TG. I hope they come back in March.

Jeremy Clarkson made, by my count, zero negative comments about the ZR1. That's farking unprecedented for an American car in his hands. And then he actually pulled off what looked like a skilled drift - also unprecedented. Has he been replaced with a lookalike droid?

Well to his credit, had Americans not been building **** for the past 20 years he might have something nice to say.

This is why Top Gear America failed at the pilot show. There no way the Big 3 give up their cars for the weekend only to have them ripped apart by the hosts. Also who would've been buying the ads and sponsorships? Conflict in interests.

That and there's no way to replace the chemistry the Top Gears guys have. IMO it's one of the best shows on television anywhere. I usually laugh my *** off during their shows.

the way they verbally destructed the 1g V....Ill never respect those truly BIASED english douches.....seems like every english car they review comes out with amazing results....when the english have been known for producing utter crap. That's my opinion.

Who's biased here? I've seen that episode a few times and what I remember most was him praising the car around the track beating the S4. So he compared it to the Voxyl or whatever, big whoop. The V is a nice car to us, but when you drive the worlds best on a daily basis it probably seems like a hammer. Hell even I had sub par initial impression on the drivability. I love my V but there are dozens of other cars I would choose over it.

Watch the video again. From the beginning you can tell hes trying very hard to find anything and everything to talk **** about.....even when he introduces the s4 he does it with such charisma, such praise....but when referring to the V he doesnt use such kind pep wording.

Hell even I had sub par initial impression on the drivability. I love my V but there are dozens of other cars I would choose over it.
Thats fine, but are you comparing apples to apples? Ie of course Id rather drive a 150k mercedes c63 black series.....but im driving a used 25k car that compares pretty darn well considering the price gap.

Have you ever watched the show? That's what they do, they either start off building something up or tearing it down and then say the exact opposite in the end. Regardless you could tell what kind of impression it left on him while he was driving it. And lets be honest...you really think the V1 was the best made vehicle? I know my car has a service sheet 2 or 3 pages long.

lol, ive watched the show for years, maybe have seen more episodes than most on the site, and agree somewhat, however usually he arrives with a pretty monotone view of the car...then gives an impression.....they just started tearing into the V from ther beginning

I'll be honest, when I took my V out for the test drive and got on it, all I could hear was "bad start.....doesn't matter because I've got allllll the power"!
