Default Shift **** wore...replacements?

Are there any replacements ***** other than a stock ****? I'm looking for a clean brushed silver ball type on the stock shifter.

I want a **** with some weight to it. Something that would fit on the B&M Shifter without any mods would be even better. Any ideas?

OMG that **** is almost the price of my short shift kit

By the way, what kind of solid weighted **** would work on a B&M shifter without having to modify the shifter stalk?

That's my ****, on a B&M shifter, weighed perfectly without modification. I did have to drill out the **** a bit and basically hammer in down. Works great, feels, looks great, even deadened the shifter noise.

Where can you get a setup like that from? The shifter boot is nice too. More info please..

That's actually mine.

Got mine from eBay. Search around here, there's a direct site to order from in Australia that was cheaper than what I paid I believe. And yes the stitching is a perfect match. How GM let the V out the door with that POS stock setup is beyond me.

Yes they are all one piece including the base, boot, and ****. They both just snap down into the console. The stock **** you have to push forward or backward (can't remember) while you pull up to get off. The Holden setup doesn't have a locking setup, I just had to wedge it down basically. It's a bit heavier giving a much better feel and it reduced the shifter noise by 99%.

The ****/boot look great, but the install method sure doesn't sound good.

I took a folded up towel places it on top and basically used the palm of my hand to hammer it on. I went a little overboard because I didn't want it slipping. Some people use a glue in there.

That eBay auction is it.
