how is the paint gonna hold up as opposed to powdercoat. I painted my 10 spokes on my ss and about a month later there were rock chips and peeling already...... and how much for the job if you dont mind me asking? how many coats?

we can go around and around talking about which is better.

i chose paint cus some rims i had on my vette were pc'd and they were chipping badly so i thought why not try paint. not to sure how many coats but there was qhite a few put on cuz i watched him for a lil while. the job took him 6 hours it cost $550 but they repaired all the curb rash that was on the wheels from the previous owner.

thats not a bad price powdercoat is like 100 a wheel. I was just wondering how it would last. i might get back to you in a month or so and see how they are holding up. hope they work out for you cuz i cant let them have my car for 2 weeks to powdercoat the wheels.
