Default LS7 exhaust manifolds fit in a CTSV LS6?

Will LS7 stock exhaust manifolds fit in a LS6 CTSV?
and if so any HP improvements?

Has anyone tried?
I'm now searching old postings?

If so please share results?

Scatillac swapped a ls7 into his V. You might pm him and see if he knows off hand whether or not the manifold would fit.
I don't really see the benefit. If you're going to the trouble you might as well go with some kooks, tpis, etc and do it once.
GL finding out.

my thought was:
stock used LS7 manifolds much cheaper than kook headers

fit and HP increases??

Doesn't look like you'd gain much to me.

Default LS7 Manifolds

Cost, fitment and performance issues steered me away from using the LS7 manifolds/converters. I'm using Jet-Hotted D-port 1 7/8" Kooks and converters, but the ARH headers, if available in 1 7/8" at the time, would certainly have been considered.

I believe that a better choice than the stock LS7 stuff would be the stock exhaust manifolds, ported and extrude-honed (or internally acid-treated). The stock converters also have a very decent flow rate.

Since, for driveability, my engine is very, very mildly cammed, I chose to enhance all possible avenues of restriction in the intake and exhaust systems to gain the power there. The intake manifold, throttle body, cylinder heads and exhaust were all given the "kiss of the carborundum" and freed up a bit. The result is a much fatter torque curve than a well-tuned Z06 (even with ARH headers), but at no cost in either driveability or funding.
