Has anyone pulled out the Bose Sub and replaced it with an aftermarket speaker? if so, what kind and did you have to upgrade the bose amplifier or can I still use the factory one?

I dont think anybody is actually replacing the bose sub just splicing into the remote wire.. I looked into it the other day was quoted 39.95 for some (lead, that's what they called it ) after that you are ablt to run pretty much any sub amp combo of your choice

I know there was a guy on here about a year ago that went through his entire system. I can't remember the name but he did a crap load of upgrades.

ssmith is the guys name on the caddy forums....he widened the hole a bit and made a mount out of some MDF, and put a free air 10" woofer in there....he got a little crazy with it after that.
