fubar.
before you sell your kit, i suggest you make sure they actualy sell cts-v
kits to the public, as i understand they never acquired a tune to
make the kit a true bolt on app. that's just the word around the sts campfire,
as well as going out of buisness rumors. could be a hint of things to come by
the lower prices and lack of any tech support.

Its basically a vendor selling STS kits specifically for a V at a drastic price reduction. They have provided dyno graphs as well.
I'm not sure about their future business ventures and don't really care about campfire stories as they are a dime a dozen. I like to hear rumors from the horses mouth, for what its worth.

lol

so they are trying to off the one kit they made
the vids with i take it? last i remember they had tune
issues and couldn't box a tune, hence the reason they
never followed through with any more requests for another R&D
ls2 car for that discounted price back in jan. 09

i would make sure that vendor who's selling cts-v kit(s)
isnt about to tank under a llc and run away with some
funny sceme to jerk around people.

all i'm saying is be carefull in these trying finacial times,
as scams are running rampid, and why is it no one else
has posted how amazing thier new sts cts-v twin turbo kit
is???? if it casts a shadow it must be real, i dont see anything,
do you?

ugh...I may be going out on a limb here but....

I'm surprised it took you this long to surface. Like that turd that you just can't flush.

I more then likely would buy directly from STS as I know enough people in the speed shop biz, to where I am sure I can get to closer to dealer cost (which I bet is just a few hundred lower then what its being sold for on the other forum).

I appreciate the concern though.

Not sure about to the wheels, as I have yet to see a V with the STS kit. The dyno pull may be a dyno pull on a C6 with a similar kit. Using 17.5% drivetrain loss, with a gain of 151RWHP over stock, 5psi is 30.2/per psi, very impressive. And yes, if you get a good tune, run good fuel, 8-9psi is plently safe on either LS6 (10.5:1) or LS2 (10.9:1), and if you got some large kahonis, you can shoot for 12psi-I would!!!
I would like to see someone step up, as we need to know the total costs with install, the HP gains, the reliability, the issues with water/rain, etc...

pig rich will put more hp over tq...
and we all know what happens to our stock cats
when you go rich. pppooppp!!! and say bye bye to
your new tt kit. lol

sts can't sell you a "bolt-on" kit without being reliable for
your tune. 7 months and counting...no kits sold to date.

that "other" graph is the only known turbo v in existance.
from what i understand, the tune was harder than the install.

that's just what i heard, i could be missinformed.

OH MY! and thier graph is a dynojet.

That's not Mike.

My guess is it's just a new member with some knowledge.

The one and only single turbo cts-v is legendary at this point, many people know about it and many people know where to find the one and only dyno graph proof of the power it makes.

And who is interested in new systems without comparisons to others and criticisms and questions?

I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing a lot of mikeNice wannabes turn up over the next year or so.

I see what you are saying, but you can't argue that the mikenice wannabes out there wouldn't have too much trouble copying his style of writing if they wanted to.

It would also be easy for anyone looking for cover or looking to get a reaction to pretend they are another screen name of the real mike.
