Did they give you new rear tires or are you going to have to buy them yourself?

No new tires. I will have to get them my self! I think John_deer found them for $100 per tire?

Saw a bone stock black V headed north on the Sawgrass Expressway Monday night around 7:00 P.M. Doubt if it was anyone on here, as exhaust was even stock. The windows had a dark tint, it appeared to be a hottie. I was going to race her, but that would have destroyed my current tank of 24+mpg/gal in my C6. Also, it had the GM chicklets on the front quarter, so it had one of those useless truck motors, only good for pulling trailers, not for road romping.

I'm surprised they '06 - '07 guys haven't started bitching yet and trying to convince us that our '04 - '05s are crap like they always do.

I think the LS2 V owners are a dying breed, most of them are turning their Vs back in to the dealer, and getting into the more race-worthy '04-'05 models. Of course the motor rule does not apply to the C6s.

I think most of us that drive our cars spiritedly already have the upgraded rear. Mine does, and it is howling too. I have to admit, I really like the steering wheel controls on the newer cars. Not enough to switch, though.

Back on topic, I have seen a few V's on my commute home in the last week. I hardly ever see another one.
