after that u decide whether you want 35watt orr 55watt
and then what temp u want. i went with 5000k and it's way brighter than my headlights. might wanna go with 4300k, i heard that was a good match.

A common misconception is that the higher to color temp, the brighter the light (lumen output). It's actually exactly the opposite, the lower the color temp the higher the lumen output. The higher the color temp the bluer the light gets, but at the cost of reduced lumens. That being said, as mentioned above, I believe the factory headlights are 5000k. To get a close match go with 5000k, but choose the 35W version, not the 55W as that will dictate the brightness as well.

you have any pics of the lights before you put them on the car? wondering how they look around the outside of the lexan(I'm worried about a jagged cut or something with my shaky hands and a dremel). Also curious what epoxy you used to glue them in. I'm thinking of trying this out!

If it's your first time, plan on 1 hour for removal and lense baking & removal. Then about 30 min to make the new lense, attach, and then let it sit over night. Then about 30 min to re-install and admire. If it takes you longer, BE PATIENT, do it right the first time. A lot of people have had issues with them leaking after being done. I took my time and have had zero issues with mine and I live in western WA.

Was it missing, or did you take out the little metal "box" inside the fog light housing that goes in front of your fog light bulb? I thought that was there to refract the light backwards into the reflector?
When I did mine, I left the tiny box in there.
Ya go DDM tuning......35w 4500k h10 kit to match the headlights perfectly.
And the Silverstar 3157 that are blue, and burn yellow. 194 LED's in the triangle light in headlight, and turn signals.
Get the clear sidemarker lenses off ebay. I was lucky and got my fog lenses from gmsolutions before he quit doing em, and got WW side markers from a guy on the CF forums.

i did mine yesterday, ddm tuning's 35 watt 6000k 10H bulb...(78.00 shipped)
i can cruise around with just my fogs on at night as long as there are
street-lites. the 6000's make it look more modern age, as it's got a slight
hint of blue in it's spectrum. easy install, took me under 20 mins done deal.
2 thumbs up!
