definetly like to see hellions system but STS already makes a kit that makes good power and you have magnacharger that is reliable and powerful as well. I dont see hellion being able to beat either of the above in price or power on the V without doing anything different...builing the motor and rear. there is only so much power the V can make reliably without pricey upgrades like a 7500 dollar rear end. nice to see another V owner out there but 04-05 are a better buy then those junky 06 trucks motors just kidding lol.

Hehehe. That's what my camaro buddies call them. It would be nice to see a front mount kit!!! Not much room to play with in the front though.

Maybe mount the engine with engine plates and use the area where the worthless mounts are!

might as well go ahead and budget an extra 7k for a madman rear if you plan on going turbo LOL. Stock CTS-V diff would take a ****.

i can see this thread turning into 27 pages of leg humping very quickly... good luck and enjoy your stay

Two days till I fly out to get my new car! I cant wait! So with all of your help I have gathered that I need to get shifter bushings, address the wheel hop issue and budget for a rear end swap? How does that rear end swap work? Is it a Ford 9" center section? Converted to CV joints? Or is it a straight axle swap like my husband does to the 03-04 Cobras? I thought I read that the 06 CTSV was the one to get because it had a better rear end than the 04-05 CTSV's.How much power will the diff hold WITHOUT traction and if the wheel hop is addressed? We do not plan to put drag radials on it or race it too often. Thanks again for the input. I'm new to this so please take it easy on me! Thanks, Brittany

ill roflmao if britt is MN.

If not, welcome!

there's a V called she-V out there, but i think the owner is actually a dude...

ps my wrench man told me a single turbo would be useless on a V, especially if it were rear mounted. but, he did say it would look "cool"

Im not scared of ANY of you boys!! Lol! Oh and for the record NOBODY called the 04-05 V inferior to the 06. Was just asking about what I read about the 06' diff being stronger.
